Balancing your Yin course by Shari
- What to expect
Who doesn’t want to come home to their own body? Give your hardworking body (and mind) a well-deserved break with some good quality yinergy.
We all have our reaction to this fast paced society, where it can be difficult to cope with the expectations from other people and ourselves. Therefore we have to take care of ourselves first and connect with our yin qualities so that we can start to see the beauty of our daily life again.
In this course you will learn how to deal with stress to make life a little bit easier and in flow. The focus will be on the importance to slow down on a daily basis and to take care of yourself, so that you will experience more balance in your life. You will receive tools and tips from Shari, who has recovered from a burn out, on how to find a more relaxed pace for you in this busy life.
You will learn to calm your nervous system and your mind with yin yoga, breathing techniques and meditation, and you will receive simple tools to support you during times of stress.
A part of each session will be in the form of a relaxing Yin practice, where we target the organs related to stress. There is space for our bodies to release stress, tension and tiredness so that we can slowly open up.
- In the first class we will dive into the world of Yin and Yang, where you will understand why we need both energies and their qualities. You will learn the difference between good quality and poor quality Yin/Yang and the importance of nourishing your Yin qualities.
- In the second class we will dive into Yin yoga. What is Yin? And what are the benefits of practicing Yin yoga in times of stress? You will learn the basic principles of yin yoga, how the practice works on physical, mental and emotional level and how to create a practice that works for you
- In the third and fourth class you will learn the six simple steps you can apply to find more balance in your daily life and to prevent going back to that point of being (almost) burned out. Each step comes with tools, tips, tricks – think of breathing techniques, Ayurvedic tools and easy meditations
This course is for everyone interested in slowing down in busy times and for those who are curious to learn more about yin yoga. There is no need to have experience with yin yoga, just come with an open heart.
This course will take place on Wednesday’s at 10:00AM.
